ADNOC Drilling Secures Multi-Year Contract with ADNOC Offshore

UAE-based ADNOC Drilling has recently expanded its workload by securing a new multi-year drilling campaign with ADNOC Offshore, a prominent oil and gas company in the region. The contract, valued at $1.15 billion, will involve the deployment of two jack-up rigs to support ADNOC Offshore’s operations in the Middle East. This marks ADNOC Drilling’s third major contract in just over a month, bringing its total awards to $3.6 billion and further solidifying its long-term revenue pipeline.

Abdulrahman Abdulla Al Seiari, CEO of ADNOC Drilling, expressed confidence in the company’s technical leadership and operational excellence, stating that the new contract underscores ADNOC Drilling’s commitment to delivering superior efficiency and performance for its clients. The deployment of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, and digitalization will further enhance the capabilities of the new jack-up rigs.

The new rigs, prepared for operations at the Lamprell shipyard in Sharjah, are equipped with cutting-edge digitalization, real-time data analytics, and AI capabilities. These technologies will enable ADNOC Drilling to improve safety, efficiency, and maximize asset value across its fleet of offshore rigs.

Tayba Abdul Rahim Al Hashemi, CEO of ADNOC Offshore, highlighted the strategic partnership with ADNOC Drilling as a key enabler for ADNOC’s production capacity growth plans. The collaboration between the two companies aims to sustainably meet the world’s energy demands and create long-term value for shareholders.

ADNOC Drilling’s latest contract comes on the heels of a $806 million deal for three rigs for the Zakum development project. The company’s rapid deployment of rigs and focus on advanced technologies position it as a key player in supporting the UAE’s long-term energy strategy.
