Singapore-based Britoil Offshore Services Secures Long-Term Charter for BOS Prelude

Singapore-based OSV owner Britoil Offshore Services has recently announced a significant achievement in securing a long-term charter for their platform support vessel, BOS Prelude, in the North Sea.

The BOS Prelude, a vessel acquired from Vroon in 2023, has been chartered to SeaRenergy for a period of seven years. The contract also includes three one-year extension options, potentially extending the vessel’s employment to a decade.

In addition to the charter of BOS Prelude, Britoil has successfully fixed their 2018-built vessel, BOS Patriot, to Azule Energy for a three-year contract with additional one-year options. The sister vessel, BOS Patience, is set to commence work in Norway in the second quarter of 2025 after completing its contract with Chevron in Egypt.
