DOF Group Secures FPSO Installation Project in Atlantic Region

Norway’s vessel owner DOF Group has won a floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) installation assignment with an undisclosed operator.

DOF Group has recently been awarded a contract for an FPSO installation project in the Atlantic region. The project includes project management, engineering, logistical services, and offshore execution for an unnamed client.

The contract value for this FPSO installation project is considered significant, with an estimated worth ranging between $15 and $25 million. DOF Group will be utilizing two of its anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels to carry out the installation duties. The project is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2025.

Previous Projects in Africa

DOF Group has a history of successful projects in Africa, including a recent collaboration with Altera Infrastructure for the installation of a cylindrical FPSO and a floating storage unit (FSO) at Eni’s oil and gas development offshore Côte d’Ivoire.

Continued Success in the Industry

Aside from the FPSO installation project, DOF Group has been actively involved in various assignments. Just last month, the company secured contracts for two subsea construction projects in the Gulf of Mexico/America, showcasing their continued success and expertise in the offshore industry.
