Alewijnse and TU Delft Collaborate on Green Energy Solutions

Electrical systems integrator Alewijnse and the Technical University (TU) Delft have teamed up to focus on developing energy conversion solutions that contribute to the green energy transition. This collaboration brings together Alewijnse’s expertise in electrification and automation with the innovative spirit of young professionals from TU Delft, aiming to address the needs of companies in the maritime and industrial sectors.

By integrating science, engineering, and design, this partnership supports the development of solutions for various types of ships and industrial installations. These solutions include:

  • Hybrid energy solutions
  • Energy quality assessments
  • Hardware-in-the-loop testing
  • Payback calculations for battery solutions
  • Automated engineering models
  • Lightning protection systems

This collaborative effort aims to drive innovation in the field of energy conversion and contribute to a more sustainable future for the maritime and industrial sectors. By combining the knowledge and skills of both Alewijnse and TU Delft, new and efficient solutions are being developed to meet the evolving demands of the industry.
