WaveGen Energy Breakthrough: Revolutionary Wave Energy Technology Surpasses Efficiency Standards

Renewable energy company WaveGen Energy has completed testing of its 200 W proof of concept (POC) at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), showcasing wave energy technology that could potentially revolutionize the sector. The company’s patented technology boasts an impressive 52% efficiency rate, surpassing the industry standard of 20%. Apart from electricity generation, the system is also capable of desalinating seawater and acting as a coastal erosion barrier.

In a recent social media post, Thaneshwar Singh, Director of WaveGen Energy, expressed his excitement about the successful testing of the POC at NITK. He stated, “Now, we are looking for investors and strategic partners who share our vision of making India a global leader in wave energy. The blue economy is the future, and early adopters will be at the forefront of a trillion-dollar shift toward sustainable energy.”

The company is actively seeking investors and strategic partners to scale up the technology for commercial deployment and further advancements in the field of wave energy.
