Brazilian Constellation Oil Services Secures Contract with Petrobras for Jackup Rig Work

Brazilian offshore driller Constellation Oil Services has been awarded a contract by Petrobras, the country’s leading oil and gas company, for jackup rig work.

The company announced that it emerged as the successful bidder in a recent tender process, securing the contract for the Admarine 511 jackup rig, which is owned by its commercial partner ADES.

The Admarine 511 will be utilized for a plug and abandonment campaign in the shallow waters of the Sergipe, Alagoas, Ceará, and Potiguar basins, with Constellation overseeing its operation.

Constellation has a mobilization period of up to 210 days to transport the rig from its current location in Bahrain to Brazil for the project.

The contract encompasses a reduced scope of additional integrated services and is set to run for a firm execution period of 1,143 days, with the possibility of an extension of up to 472 days.
