The Latest Innovation in Underwater Connectivity: MacArtney’s 9-Contact SubConn® Micro Circular Connector

MacArtney has launched the newest SubConn® Micro Circular series member: the 9-contact connector. With enhanced features designed to minimize signal interference, the connector ensures optimal data accuracy and efficient underwater operations.

Enhanced Signal Integrity

With enhanced shielding, the 9-contact connector minimizes electromagnetic interference, providing a stable and uninterrupted connection for underwater equipment. It features optimal data integrity, minimal signal loss, and high data fidelity – critical attributes for advanced underwater applications.

Easy Integration and Adaptability

Thanks to the standardized thread size 7/16-20 UNF, the 9-contact SubConn connector is easily integrated with existing systems and simplifies installation. It enables quick adaptation to different underwater instruments and equipment without needing custom solutions. Users can easily modify systems to meet evolving demands, enhancing operational flexibility.

Enhanced Security and Reliability

The ninth contact in this connector is intended for a screen, providing an extra layer of data protection and ensuring reliable performance. The high-quality materials used in the connector body resist corrosion and pressure, ensuring long-term durability and reliability even at great ocean depths.

High Performance

Each of the nine contacts is rated at 5 A, with a maximum of 20 A per connector, meeting the demanding requirements of underwater applications. The Micro Circular connectors are manufactured from high-grade neoprene and feature a high ocean depth rating, reducing the need for frequent maintenance and replacements.
