Eco Wave Power Partners with All-Ways Metal for Wave Energy Project in Los Angeles

Eco Wave Power, a leading onshore wave energy technology company, has recently announced a significant manufacturing agreement with All-Ways Metal, Inc. This partnership is aimed at producing floaters for Eco Wave Power’s wave energy project located in the Port of Los Angeles. The agreement signifies a major step forward in the development of Eco Wave Power’s inaugural U.S. proof-of-concept installation.

The floaters, integral to Eco Wave Power’s innovative wave energy conversion technology, will be manufactured locally by All-Ways Metal. The production is scheduled for completion within 70 days, after which the floaters will be installed and linked to the Municipal Pier One at the Port of Los Angeles, marking the official commencement of the Company’s U.S. project.

This milestone follows Eco Wave Power’s recent approval from the Port of Los Angeles, obtained earlier this month, and complements the federal permit issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in November 2024. These regulatory clearances pave the way for the full realization of Eco Wave Power’s inaugural wave energy system in the U.S.

Developed in collaboration with Shell Marine Renewable Energy (Shell MRE), the project represents a synergy of public and private investments in renewable energy infrastructure. Once operational, the pilot installation will serve as a scalable blueprint for future wave energy deployments along the U.S. coast and globally.
