Cellula Robotics Partners with Subsea Europe Services to Expand AUV Technologies in Northern Europe

Canadian company Cellula Robotics has announced a new sales and representation agreement with Subsea Europe Services (SES) and its defense division, FLANQ, to enhance the market presence of its advanced autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) technologies across Northern Europe.

As part of the agreement, SES will be responsible for promoting and representing Cellula’s full AUV portfolio, which includes the Envoy, Porter, and Guardian AUVs, as well as the Subsea Warden Hovering AUV and the Subsea Sentinel system. These technologies cater to both commercial and scientific sectors, offering innovative solutions for various underwater applications.

SES will primarily target customers in academic research, offshore survey, and geophysical industries, while FLANQ will engage with defense, maritime security, and government clients. This strategic partnership aims to provide local expertise and direct access to Cellula’s cutting-edge underwater platforms and sensors in countries such as Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Finland.

Richard Mills, Chief Commercial Officer at Cellula Robotics, expressed confidence in the collaboration, stating, “We have worked with SES and FLANQ co-founders, Sören Themann and Daniel Esser, for many years now. Their dedication to customer satisfaction and exceptional service aligns with our values, making this partnership a natural progression. We trust in their professionalism and commitment to delivering for our organization.”

This new alliance signifies a significant step towards expanding Cellula Robotics’ footprint in the European market and reinforcing its position as a leading provider of AUV technologies. With the support of SES and FLANQ, the company is poised to drive innovation and meet the evolving needs of customers in the region.
