Tidewater Secures New Contract for Platform Supply Vessel in North Sea

Offshore support vessel owner Tidewater has recently announced a new contract for one of its platform supply vessels operating in the UK sector of the North Sea.

The 2007-built North Promise has been chartered for supply duties to TotalEnergies for a period of 12 months. The contract, commencing in June, includes additional extension options.

While specific dayrates for the charter have not been disclosed, earlier this year, the 4,900 dwt PSV secured spot fixtures with Enquest and Shell, showcasing Tidewater’s continued presence and activity in the region.

In addition to the North Promise, another Tidewater PSV, the 2013-built Troms Lyra, has also been recently contracted for approximately 100 days to support the plug and abandonment jackup rig Well-Safe Protector operated by Spirit Energy.
