Kraken Robotics Appoints Kristin Robertson to Board of Directors

Kraken Robotics Inc. has recently announced the appointment of Kristin Robertson to the company’s Board of Directors. With over 30 years of experience in managing complex portfolios at top U.S. defense companies, Robertson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. She is currently the President and owner of KBR Insights, a strategic consulting firm based in Virginia that focuses on operational excellence, strategy, and growth in the aerospace and defense sector.

Throughout her career, Robertson has demonstrated a deep understanding of disruptive technology, digital practices, and methodologies applied across various sectors. She previously served as President of Space and C2 Systems at RTX Corporation (formerly Raytheon), where she provided integrated space solutions for defense, intelligence, and commercial customers globally. Prior to that, she held multiple senior leadership positions at Boeing, overseeing military aircraft and autonomous systems programs.

With a background in electronics engineering from the University of California San Diego and a master’s degree in international business from Saint Louis University, Robertson’s expertise is well-rounded and diverse. She is excited to join Kraken Robotics and contribute to the company’s growth and impact in the field of ocean technology and innovation.

In addition to Robertson’s appointment, Kraken also announced the approval of the issuance of 3,425,000 stock options to certain employees and directors by its Board of Directors. These options have a seven-year term, with vesting in four equal installments on the annual anniversaries of the initial date of grant, and an exercise price of $2.42.
