American Cruise Lines Announces Largest Season of New England Cruises

American Cruise Lines has revealed its most extensive season of New England cruises to date, featuring nine different itineraries and five small ships, including the newest addition to their fleet, the American Patriot.

The American Patriot is the flagship vessel in the company’s new Patriot Class series. With a capacity of 130 passengers, the ship recently completed its Sea Trials and is set to embark on its inaugural cruise starting June 21 from Boston. This 15-Day Grand New England cruise will take guests on a journey to iconic destinations such as Boston, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, Gloucester, Provincetown, and Plymouth in Massachusetts; Portsmouth in New Hampshire; and Newport, Rhode Island, among others.

Alongside the American Patriot, American Cruise Lines will introduce three more Patriot Class sister ships within the next 16 months—American Pioneer, American Maverick, and American Ranger. The 2025 season will feature an expanded range of 8 to 16-Day itineraries, showcasing the company’s growth and offering exclusive experiences exploring coastal New England.

Departing from convenient ports including New York City, Boston, Providence, and Portland, guests onboard American’s U.S.-flagged small ships can look forward to private balcony staterooms, authentic lobster bakes, onboard entertainment, and guided onshore excursions as they explore over 20 ports in the region.
