Subsea 7 Secures Major Contract Offshore Norway

Subsea 7, a leading global contractor in seabed-to-surface engineering and construction services, has recently announced the successful award of a significant contract offshore Norway. Valued between $150 million and $300 million, this project reaffirms Subsea 7’s position as a key player in the industry.

The scope of work for Subsea 7 includes engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of pipeline bundles, spools, protection covers, and tie-ins using their specialized vessels. With project management and engineering activities commencing immediately at their offices in Stavanger, Norway, and Aberdeen, Scotland, Subsea 7 is well-prepared to deliver exceptional results.

Furthermore, the fabrication of pipeline bundles will be carried out in Wester, Scotland, while the offshore operations are scheduled to take place between 2025 and 2027. This timeline reflects Subsea 7’s commitment to delivering high-quality services within the specified timeframe.

Although specific details about the contract and the client have not been disclosed, Subsea 7’s Vice President for Norway, Erik Femsteinevik, expressed his enthusiasm for the project. “We are excited to have been awarded this project. Our collaboration with our clients leverages our collective experience, enabling us to optimize design solutions and contribute to a positive final investment decision. Subsea 7 looks forward to a safe, efficient, and reliable field development,” Femsteinevik stated.

With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation, Subsea 7 is well-positioned to deliver exceptional results for this offshore project in Norway. As a trusted partner in the industry, Subsea 7 continues to demonstrate its expertise and commitment to excellence in every project it undertakes.
