DOF Group ASA Secures Two Major Contracts in Brazil

DOF Group ASA, a leading global offshore service provider, has recently announced the signing of two significant contracts in Brazil. These contracts further solidify the company’s presence in the region and underscore its commitment to delivering high-quality services to its clients.

Skandi Logger Contract

The first contract involves the AHTS vessel, Skandi Logger, with an impressive 250t bollard pull capacity. This state-of-the-art vessel, built in 2009, has been awarded a 4-year engagement with Petrobras, one of the largest oil and gas companies in Brazil. The contract was secured through a competitive tender process, highlighting DOF’s strong track record and competitive edge in the industry.

Skandi Logger is expected to commence its operations with Petrobras in February 2026. As part of the contract terms, the vessel will be reflagged to the Brazilian Flag, further strengthening its local presence and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Skandi Achiever Contract

In addition to the Skandi Logger contract, DOF Group ASA has also secured a contract for its RSV vessel, Skandi Achiever. This contract, also awarded by Petrobras through a competitive tender process, entails a 4-year engagement starting in December 2025. Skandi Achiever will seamlessly transition from its current contract with another client in Brazil to fulfill its new obligations with Petrobras.

Petrobras’ contract with Skandi Achiever includes the utilization of the vessel’s two Work Class ROVs and subsea crane, showcasing the vessel’s advanced capabilities and versatility in supporting offshore operations.

Combined Value and Impact

The two contracts secured by DOF Group ASA in Brazil have a combined value exceeding $275 million, further solidifying the company’s financial standing and growth prospects. These contracts not only demonstrate DOF’s strong operational capabilities and competitive edge but also highlight its long-term commitment to serving the needs of its clients in the region.
