Teledyne Technologies Incorporated Acquires Maretron Assets

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated has recently announced the acquisition of assets from Maretron, including the brand’s Octoplex, MPower, and MConnect product lines from Littelfuse, Inc.

This strategic purchase will enable Teledyne’s Raymarine business to offer enhanced integration and automation solutions for boat builders as a comprehensive one-stop-shop. Additionally, it will expand product functionality for consumers and open up new business opportunities for Raymarine and its partners. Raymarine plans to retain Maretron’s trade name and product lines to ensure a smooth transition for existing Maretron customers.

With the inclusion of Maretron products and engineering expertise, Raymarine solidifies its position as a leading provider of vessel automation solutions for boat builders and system integrators. The acquisition also encompasses Maretron’s Florida office location, ensuring that both Raymarine and Maretron can continue to cater to the strategic United States Southeast boating market effectively.

The acquisition of Maretron marks Teledyne’s eleventh corporate carve-out transaction and its second carve-out completed in 2025. This move underscores Teledyne’s commitment to expanding its portfolio and strengthening its position in the marine technology industry.
