Teledyne Technologies Acquires Maretron Assets

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated has acquired the assets of Maretron, including the brand’s Octoplex, MPower, and MConnect product lines, from Littelfuse, Inc. The transaction was announced on 1 July 2025.

Enhanced Integration for Boat Owners

In 2024, Raymarine and Maretron partnered to announce a new technical integration that allows boat owners to access more comprehensive monitoring through Raymarine’s Axiom chartplotter displays.

Strengthening Raymarine’s Portfolio

The acquisition integrates Maretron’s products and engineering capabilities into Teledyne’s Raymarine business. Grégoire Outters, vice president and general manager of Teledyne FLIR Maritime and Raymarine, stated, “One of our strategic pillars is to provide customers with the best integration options in the industry, and Maretron strengthens our offering to the market. By incorporating Maretron’s award-winning products into the Raymarine portfolio, we will create a better experience for our customers.”

Continuity for Maretron Clients

Raymarine plans to retain Maretron’s brand and product lines to ensure continuity for existing Maretron clients. The acquisition also includes Maretron’s Florida office, allowing for continued operations in the southeastern US boating market.

Expanding Teledyne’s Portfolio

This transaction represents Teledyne’s 11th corporate carve-out and the second such acquisition in 2025. In 2023, MIN reported on Teledyne Technologies’ acquisition of the digital marine navigation specialist ChartWorld International Limited and its affiliates.
