Greensea IQ Announces Exclusive Sales Representation in Italy

Greensea IQ, a renowned leader in subsea robotics and autonomous systems, has recently appointed Rigel SrL as its exclusive sales representative in Italy for the Bayonet line of Autonomous Underwater Ground Vehicles (AUGVs).

Based in Rome, Rigel SrL boasts over 50 years of experience in delivering advanced electronics, robotics, and automation systems to Italy’s maritime, defense, and industrial sectors. This strategic partnership signifies a significant milestone in Greensea IQ’s expansion in Europe and the introduction of its Bayonet surf-zone and nearshore robotics solutions to the Italian market.

The Bayonet AUGV family is specifically tailored for operations in the surf zone and shallow water, offering autonomous seabed mobility for various applications such as mine countermeasures (MCM), UXO detection, coastal surveys, payload delivery, and amphibious reconnaissance. Leveraging Greensea IQ’s robust, open architecture platform, the Bayonet systems provide true autonomy, precise navigation, and modular payload integration.

This collaboration between Greensea IQ and Rigel SrL is expected to enhance the availability of cutting-edge subsea robotics solutions in Italy and further strengthen the capabilities of both companies in addressing the evolving needs of the maritime industry.
