Mermaid Maritime’s Middle East Subsidiaries Secure Project Awards Worth $430m to $500m

Mermaid Maritime, a renowned Thai offshore specialist, has announced that its Middle East subsidiaries have successfully secured multiple project awards valued between $430m and $500m. These contracts encompass a wide range of services, including diving, inspection, repairs, maintenance, and subsea cable installation scopes.

The company will be utilizing a fleet of vessels, including one of its DP2 saturation DSVs, to execute the projects. While some work has already commenced as per the long-term contract agreements, the specific clients for these projects have not been disclosed.

Chalermchai Mahagitsiri, CEO of Mermaid Group, expressed gratitude to their clients for their continued trust and support, which has led to this significant achievement. He highlighted the growth opportunities these contracts present for Mermaid Maritime, solidifying their position in the energy sector’s value chain.

These recent project awards reaffirm Mermaid’s pivotal role in the industry and underscore the company’s commitment to excellence in delivering high-quality services to its clients. With a strong track record of successful project execution and a reputation for reliability, Mermaid Maritime continues to be a trusted partner in the offshore sector.

As the company moves forward with these new projects, it is poised to further strengthen its presence in the Middle East region and expand its portfolio of services to meet the evolving needs of the energy industry.
