McDermott Partners with Aize for Digital Twin Solutions in Middle East Operations
U.S.-based offshore engineering and construction company McDermott has recently inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Aize to implement the latter’s digital twin solutions across its operations in the Middle East.
The strategic partnership aims to enhance operational efficiency across the asset lifecycle, spanning from engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) to operations. The initial focus will be on Qatar, with potential expansion to the UAE and Saudi Arabia in subsequent phases.
“At Aize, we enable industrial firms to expedite their digital transformation through our cutting-edge digital twin technology. By consolidating data and workflows in a unified, user-friendly platform, we facilitate informed decision-making from design to operations,” stated Aize.
Aize emphasized that the shared objective with McDermott is to accelerate digital adoption and deliver enhanced value to customers in the region, aligning closely with their vision for operational excellence.
This collaboration follows Aize’s recent contract with BP for visualization services for offshore assets in January, showcasing the company’s growing presence in the sector.
Meanwhile, McDermott has been actively pursuing contract opportunities, with its involvement in a consortium led by Saipem for a dual front-end engineering design (FEED) tender with INPEX for the Abadi LNG project offshore Indonesia, where PT McDermott Indonesia is a partner.
