Noble Corporation Secures Additional Work for Ocean Apex Rig in Australia

Noble Corporation has announced that its semisubmersible rig, Ocean Apex, has secured additional work in Australia.

The 1976-built and 2014-upgraded Ocean Apex has been fixed to an undisclosed operator in direct continuation of its previous commitments in Australia. The contract is for a minimum of 37 days at rates that have not been disclosed, with the work expected to commence between the second and third quarters of 2025.

Since June 2024, the Ocean Apex has been operating for Santos. The rig will continue with Santos until May of this year, following which it will transition to work for Chevron Australia until July. Additionally, Chevron Australia has an option for an additional well.
