Next Geosolutions Awarded €27m Contract for Wind Farm Surveys

Offshore energy services contractor Next Geosolutions has been chosen by Dutch-German transmission system operator TenneT for site surveys at two wind farm zones off the coast of the Netherlands.

The contract, valued at €27m ($27.7m), will involve conducting marine UXO surveys in the Doordewind offshore wind area and the Nederwiek site, where NextGeo previously carried out similar activities in 2024.

The survey in the Nederwiek area is set to commence in the first quarter of 2025 and will span throughout the year. Operations in the Doordewind area are scheduled for 2026.

Milan-listed NextGeo owns four vessels and also has access to the entire Marnavi offshore fleet, which comprises nearly 15 units. The company recently secured another contract from TenneT, worth approximately €43m, for geophysical and geotechnical surveys at the Doordewind wind area in 2025.
