OneWater Marine has completed its acquisition of American Yacht Group, expanding its presence in the southeastern US and increasing its capabilities in new and pre-owned boat sales, finance and insurance, and parts and services.

“American Yacht Group is a powerful addition to our portfolio, expanding our premium yacht offerings and strengthening our position in the luxury marine market,” says Austin Singleton, chief executive officer for OneWater. “The strategic transaction also adds HCB Yachts to our product lineup with exclusive dealership rights in Alabama, Florida, New York, and North Carolina, expanding our portfolio and commitment to delivering the best in boating. We are eager to deploy our proven integration playbook and realize the significant upside from this transaction.”

OneWater Marine operates 96 retail locations, 10 distribution centres, and multiple online marketplaces across 19 states in the US. The company offers new and pre-owned boats, finance and insurance products, parts and accessories, as well as maintenance, repair, and other services.

American Yacht Group acquisition

American Yacht Group is a dealer of HCB Yachts in south Florida, with locations in Fort Lauderdale and Jupiter. The acquisition includes both dealership operations and exclusive dealership rights for HCB Yachts in Alabama, Florida, New York, and North Carolina. American Yacht Group recorded approximately $75m in sales in 2024.

The news of the acquisition comes a week after OneWater Marine reported its first-quarter revenue growth, with revenue up by 3.2 per cent to $375.8m, compared to $364m in the same period of the previous year.
