Subseatec Secures Exclusive Global Supplier Agreement for Subsea Steel Parts

Scana-owned Subseatec has recently inked a significant frame agreement with an international leader in subsea technology, designating Subseatec as the exclusive global supplier of steel parts for subsea production systems.

The agreement, set to commence in the first quarter of 2025, will span a three-year period, marking a pivotal milestone for Subseatec’s growth and market presence.

While the frame agreement does not impose a minimum delivery obligation, Scana anticipates substantial business volume based on past revenue streams from the client and a promising project pipeline. As a result, the contract is expected to be of considerable value to Scana, ranging between $2.2 million and $6.6 million.

Peter Jansson, the Managing Director at Subseatec, expressed his satisfaction with the deal, stating, “The contract underscores our commitment to advancing steel parts for subsea production systems using high-strength materials. It is a testament to our dedication to innovation and excellence in this field.”
