TGS Secures Two 4D Streamer Contracts in Norway

Norwegian seismic firm TGS has recently announced that it has secured two 4D streamer contract acquisition projects, one in the North Sea and the other in the Norwegian Sea. The projects are set to commence in June 2025, with a total duration of approximately 80 days.

While the specific clients and contract values have not been disclosed, TGS CEO Kristian Johansen expressed satisfaction with the new contracts, stating, “We are pleased to secure two new 4D streamer contracts. Now we have a total of six 4D streamer contracts scheduled for the 2025 summer season on the Norwegian continental shelf.”

These contracts highlight the growing demand for TGS’s GeoStreamer technology and the efficiency of their Ramform acquisition platform in delivering high-quality seismic data. The company’s commitment to technological innovation and client satisfaction continues to position them as a leader in the industry.

With a track record of successful projects and a strong reputation for excellence, TGS remains at the forefront of seismic exploration in the Norwegian offshore sector. The upcoming 4D streamer projects are poised to further showcase the company’s expertise and capabilities in capturing valuable data for their clients.
