Odfjell Technology Extends Contract with ConocoPhillips in the North Sea

Odfjell Technology, a spinoff of Odfjell Drilling that specializes in offshore operations, well-service technology, and engineering solutions, has secured an extension with ConocoPhillips for operations in the North Sea.

The contract entails the provision of platform drilling operation and maintenance services in Norway. The recently exercised option extends the contract until July 1, 2028, spanning a three-year period.

This extension marks a significant addition to Odfjell Technology’s firm backlog. Additionally, ConocoPhillips retains another three-year option under the contract, showcasing a continued partnership between the two companies.

Commenting on the contract extension, Kurt Meinert Fjell, EVP of operations at Odfjell Technology, expressed his satisfaction, stating, “ConocoPhillips has been an important client to us for several years, and we are pleased to continue our cooperation. The exercising of this option is a testament to the hard work from the teams both offshore and onshore, and we look forward to continuing to work together to deliver results safely.”
