The company has forged a partnership with an Abu Dhabi-based seaglider operator to introduce cutting-edge REGENT seagliders into its fleet.
The introduction of seagliders marks a major development in the realm of maritime transportation. These high-speed vessels offer zero-emission transport for passengers traveling to and from offshore energy infrastructure, aligning with ADNOC’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.

ADNOC L&S plans to leverage these all-electric seagliders to ferry individuals to and from offshore energy installations, optimizing commute times and reducing carbon footprint.

With commute times comparable to helicopters and a speed advantage of over 70% compared to traditional maritime transport options, these vessels offer a swift and efficient mode of transportation. Operating at speeds of up to 180 mph (300kph) for distances of up to 180 miles (300 km), seagliders ensure rapid and comfortable travel for passengers.
