DOF Group’s Danish Subsidiary Sells Two Vessels to International Buyer

The Danish subsidiary of Norway’s vessel owner DOF Group has recently finalized deals to sell two of its anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels to an undisclosed international buyer. The vessels, named Skandi Tender and Skandi Trader, are part of DOF Group’s fleet and are set to be delivered to their new owner in September 2025.

Both the Skandi Tender, built in 2009, and the Skandi Trader, built in 2008, are of Vik Sandvik 472 AHTS design and have a capacity to accommodate 30 people. These vessels are specifically designed for field installation operations in various water depths and conditions, making them versatile assets in the offshore industry.

The sale of the Skandi Trader is subject to the buyer’s inspection, ensuring that the vessels meet the buyer’s requirements and standards before the transaction is finalized. The successful completion of these deals marks a strategic move for DOF Group’s Danish subsidiary as they optimize their fleet and operations.

These sales come on the heels of DOF Group securing long-term assignments for another vessel duo, Skandi Logger, and Skandi Achiever, with Petrobras. The company continues to strengthen its presence in the offshore industry by providing reliable and efficient vessel services to meet the needs of its clients.

With a focus on delivering high-quality services and maintaining a diverse fleet of vessels, DOF Group’s Danish subsidiary remains a key player in the maritime industry. The completion of these recent vessel sales underscores the company’s commitment to strategic growth and operational excellence.
