The American Maritime Partnership Launches New Ad Campaign Honoring U.S. Mariners

By: American Maritime Partnership

The American Maritime Partnership (AMP) – the voice of the American maritime industry – has unveiled a new ad titled “Always Ready. Always Present.” This patriotic tribute celebrates the American mariners and vessels that play a critical role in powering U.S. national, homeland, and economic security.

The ad will be broadcast on cable television in Washington, D.C., and across various digital channels in collaboration with industry partners, including the American Waterways Operators and the Transportation Institute. These organizations advocate for the nation’s tugboat, towboat, barge industry, and support maritime research, education, and promotion.

This campaign comes at a time when President Donald J. Trump and bipartisan leaders in Congress have placed a strong emphasis on strengthening the United States’ shipbuilding and shipping industries.

“A secure America starts on our waters,” the ad declares. “Always ready. Always present.”

Emphasizing the importance of the Jones Act, which mandates that all vessels transporting goods within the United States must be American-owned, American-crewed, American-built, and fly the American flag, the video showcases real captains, crew members, and shipbuilders who embody the dedication and reliability that prioritize America’s interests.

American Maritime Partnership President Jennifer Carpenter stated, “Our mariners are always on watch, from our shores and shipyards to America’s waterways and deep-sea trade lanes. This ad is a celebration of their service and a reminder that America’s strength on the water must never be taken for granted.”

“Always Ready. Always Present.” underscores the unwavering commitment of Jones Act mariners to protect the homeland, strengthen domestic supply chains, and ensure U.S. self-reliance in times of peace, crisis, or conflict.

The campaign’s primary goal is to educate lawmakers, policymakers, and the public on the vital role of the Jones Act and America’s domestic fleet in safeguarding the nation’s interests.
