UK-Based Aquaterra Energy Secures Multi-Year Contract for Subsea Well Intervention Equipment in Nigeria

UK-based Aquaterra Energy has recently announced the signing of a multi-year contract with Intrepid Energy Limited to provide a tailored subsea well intervention equipment package for an upcoming project in Nigeria. This significant partnership aims to enhance reservoir production through intervention operations on multiple mature oil wells in the region.

The comprehensive contract, valued at millions of dollars, encompasses the supply of a complete seabed-to-surface intervention system and package. The equipment range includes essential components such as TRT tieback tooling for production bore and annular access, a lightweight well pressure control system, and an open water intervention riser with an integrated tensioning system.

Aside from equipment delivery, Aquaterra Energy will also offer continuous offshore engineering support throughout the project’s duration. The well access solution has been meticulously designed for deployment from jack-ups and lift boats to effectively reduce intervention costs and streamline operations.

This project is expected to span multiple years, with Aquaterra Energy’s team of dedicated engineers providing ongoing technical expertise and service support. The collaboration between Aquaterra Energy and Intrepid Energy Limited underscores a commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainable resource extraction in the oil and gas sector.
