Atlantica Shipping Secures Long-Term Contract for Skandi Caledonia in UK Waters

Oslo-based Atlantica Shipping has recently announced that one of its platform supply vessels, the Skandi Caledonia, has been contracted long-term in UK waters.

Shell has signed a lease agreement for the 2003-built Skandi Caledonia for a minimum duration of one year, with the possibility of extension options included in the contract.

Originally acquired by Atlantica in 2023 from DOF, the vessel will be managed by DOF and is expected to commence its charter in May.

This agreement comes on the heels of Shell UK’s recent charter of the 2009-built Edda Frende PSV in a similar deal, showcasing the company’s commitment to securing reliable vessel services for its operations.
