Bryton Marine Group Acquires Freshwater Marina in Campbell River, Canada

Bryton Marine Group, a family-owned company operating in the US and Canada, has announced the acquisition of Freshwater Marina in Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada. This news follows the recent acquisition of Alumacraft from Canadian firm BRP, solidifying Bryton Marine Group’s presence in the boating industry.

Bryton Marine Group specializes in aluminum boats ranging from 14ft to 150ft and serves various markets including commercial, government, sportfishing, and adventure boating. With six brands under its umbrella, the company is committed to expanding its reach and enhancing its offerings.

As part of the acquisition, Freshwater Marina will now be integrated into Bryton Marine Group’s network, aligning with the company’s expansion strategy for EagleCraft Boats and its long-term growth plans in the region. The move demonstrates Bryton Marine Group’s dedication to enriching local communities and fostering maritime activities for future generations.

In addition to the acquisition news, Bryton Marine Group has welcomed back James Irwin as the president and chief operating officer of Alumacraft Boats, effective May 1, 2025. Irwin’s return signifies the company’s commitment to leadership excellence and strategic growth.

Based in Vernon, British Columbia, Bryton Marine Group owns All American Marine, BRIX Marine, Duckworth, EagleCraft, KingFisher Boats, and Weldcraft. The addition of Freshwater Marina, located on Vancouver Island, enhances the company’s portfolio and strengthens its presence in the boating industry.

Freshwater Marina offers a range of boating services at its Campbell River site, including moorage and waterfront services. The marina’s strategic location and comprehensive offerings make it a valuable asset within Bryton Marine Group’s network.
