Cantieri di Pisa has appointed Atalanta Marine as its exclusive representative for Greece and Cyprus. This, says the shipyard, marks a significant step in the shipyard’s strategy to enhance its international presence and consolidate its positioning in a region of historical importance.
Greece and the Aegean Sea have long represented a key market for Cantieri di Pisa. Under the ownership of Enrico Gennasio, since 2021, the shipyard has embarked on a path of revitalisation, including a large expansion of its facilities in Pisa. It’s building this on quality, innovation, and a strong sense of identity, it says and as such, the appointment of Atalanta Marine is a strategic milestone.
“We are very pleased and genuinely proud to welcome Atalanta Marine into the Cantieri di Pisa family,” says Marco Massabò, CEO of Cantieri di Pisa. “This appointment further strengthens our bond with a region that has played a pivotal role in our shipyard’s heritage. We look forward to introducing our new projects to the owners of the Eastern Mediterranean, who have always shown great appreciation for our brand.”
Atalanta Marine has an extensive commercial network and a range of services which include brokerage of shipyards, operational yacht management, crew management, financial advisory, and technical support. The company has more than 80 service points spread across Greece, Turkey, Croatia, and Montenegro.
Dimitris Deligiannis, managing partner, says that Atalanta Marine is honored to represent Cantieri di Pisa. He calls the latter “the choice of the Greek elite yachtsmen and the synonym of exquisite design identity and strong performance yachts.”
Cantieri di Pisa, together with chief designer Antonio Luxardo (who was appointed in May last year), has developed a fleet comprising the Akhir, Saturno, and Polaris lines.
Meanwhile, Saturno has been conceived for owners who appreciate classic design. It will include five models built from steel, aluminum, and composite materials – the Saturno 38, 48, and 56, along with the Super Saturno 64 and Super Saturno 90.
Then there’s Polaris (pictured top), a range of voyager yachts constructed from steel and aluminum, featuring composite superstructures and a displacement hull EHPH (Eco High Power Hull) designed for long-range cruising with reduced fuel consumption. The line includes the Polaris 38, 48, and Super Polaris 60.
