Danos Operations Services Awarded Contract for Beacon Offshore Energy’s Shenandoah FPS

Danos Operations Services has secured a prestigious contract to provide production services for Beacon Offshore Energy’s latest deepwater facility, the Shenandoah floating production system (FPS). This significant project marks a new milestone for both companies in the offshore energy sector.

The scope of the contract includes the deployment of production operators, instrumentation and electrical technicians, mechanics, and offshore installation managers. A dedicated team of skilled professionals began their work on the Shenandoah platform in 2024, bringing their expertise and commitment to ensuring operational excellence.

Located in the Gulf of Mexico, the Shenandoah FPS is currently undergoing the final stages of hook-up and commissioning, with production operations scheduled to commence later this summer. With a projected nameplate capacity of 120,000 barrels of oil per day, the facility is poised to significantly contribute to Beacon Offshore Energy’s production portfolio.

Strategically positioned approximately 230 miles from New Orleans, the Shenandoah FPS represents a key strategic asset for Beacon Offshore Energy’s offshore operations. The facility’s advanced technology and state-of-the-art infrastructure demonstrate the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the energy industry.

As a trusted partner in the offshore energy sector, Danos Operations Services is proud to be associated with the Shenandoah FPS project and looks forward to supporting Beacon Offshore Energy in achieving their production goals. The collaboration between the two companies exemplifies a shared vision for excellence and operational efficiency in the offshore energy market.

With a strong focus on safety, quality, and performance, Danos Operations Services is well-equipped to deliver reliable and cost-effective production services for Beacon Offshore Energy’s Shenandoah FPS. The partnership between the two companies is set to drive value and success in the offshore energy sector for years to come.
