The OASIS Project: Supporting Offshore Energy Innovations in the North Sea Region
The Dutch Marine Energy Centre (DMEC)-led Offshore Accelerator for System Integration and Storage (OASIS) project has initiated the first support call for offshore energy innovations, aiming to bolster growth and impact in the renewable offshore energy sector in the North Sea region.
Start-ups and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) specializing in offshore energy storage and system integration solutions are encouraged to apply for the first Support Call. This includes companies working on innovative storage technologies, electrolysis and H2 concepts, digital control technologies, and energy management technologies.
The deadline for applications is April 5th. Successful applicants will receive customized support, including technological, commercial, and sustainability analysis, practical training, interactive exercises, and access to a network of end-user advisors to strengthen their innovation capacity.
Companies participating in the program will also benefit from tailored feedback to advance in the market. The OASIS project will host seven Pressure Cooker Events across different North Sea regions, with the first event scheduled for mid-June in Scheveningen, the Netherlands.
The consortium driving the OASIS project comprises DMEC, Uppsala University, the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Blue Cluster, Flux 50, BOVA ENVIRO+, ÅKP, Energy Cluster Denmark, and BUILDERS School of Civil Engineering, along with the OPEN-C Foundation.
