DOF Group Secures Contract for Subsea Mooring Installation Services in Western Australia

Norwegian offshore supply vessel operator DOF Group has recently announced that it has secured a significant contract for subsea mooring installation services in Western Australia. This contract marks a significant milestone for the company as it continues to expand its presence and operations in the region.

Under the terms of the contract, DOF will utilize its state-of-the-art Skandi Hercules construction support vessel (CSV) for mooring and installation subsea services. The Skandi Hercules CSV is equipped with two permanently installed WROV systems and a 250Te AHC crane, making it well-suited for the task at hand.

The scope of work for this project includes DOF’s in-house project management and engineering, procurement, and logistics support services. This comprehensive approach ensures that all aspects of the project are carefully planned and executed to meet the client’s requirements and expectations.

Offshore execution of the project in West Australian waters is scheduled to take place in the third quarter of 2025, with the vessel expected to be engaged on the project for approximately two months. This timeline underscores the efficiency and reliability of DOF’s operations and its ability to deliver projects on schedule.

Commenting on the contract award, Mons Aase, CEO of DOF Group, expressed his confidence in the company’s ability to successfully deliver the project. He stated, “The award secures substantial backlog for the APAC region in the second half of 2025, and we look forward to delivering a safe and successful project.”

Overall, the contract for subsea mooring installation services in Western Australia represents a significant opportunity for DOF Group to showcase its expertise and capabilities in the offshore sector. With a strong track record of delivering high-quality services to clients worldwide, DOF is well-positioned to excel in this project and contribute to the development of the region’s offshore industry.
