DOF Secures Two Long-Term Contracts with Petrobras in Brazil

Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has recently announced the acquisition of two significant long-term contracts in Brazil with Petrobras, the state-controlled oil giant, totaling over $275 million in value.

The first contract involves the 2009-built anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS) Skandi Logger, which is set to embark on a four-year contract with Petrobras starting in February 2026. As part of the agreement, the vessel will be reflagged under the Brazilian flag.

In a separate tender process, Petrobras awarded DOF another four-year contract for the 2007-built Skandi Achiever to serve as a remotely operated vehicle support vessel (RSV). The contract is slated to commence in December 2025, immediately following the vessel’s current engagement with another client in Brazil. The deal encompasses the utilization of Skandi Achiever‘s two work-class ROVs and subsea crane.

These new contracts come on the heels of DOF securing $480 million worth of fixtures for AHTS vessels Skandi Iguaçu, Skandi Angra, Skandi Paraty, and Skandi Urca, all scheduled to commence operations in 2026.
