Norwegian offshore vessel DOF Secures Multiple Contracts for Subsea Construction Vessel

Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has secured multiple contracts for its subsea construction vessel, Skandi Inventor, in the Atlantic region. The DP3 construction vessel has secured over 100 days of firm work with undisclosed clients, along with additional options available.

The Skandi Inventor, built in 2018, is equipped with a 400-ton active heave-compensated crane and a large working deck. Recent upgrades have seen the vessel fitted with two work-class ROVs and a modern survey suite, all of which will be fully operated by DOF.

Preparations for the upcoming projects are already underway, with DOF providing a full scope of project management, engineering, logistics, and offshore execution as part of the campaigns.

CEO of DOF Group, Mons S. Aase, expressed his satisfaction with the recent developments, stating, “We are pleased to welcome the Skandi Inventor to the North Sea and to see immediate project intake across the second, third, and fourth quarters of 2025.”
