Wave Energy Innovator Eco Wave Power to Collaborate with Indian Company for Pilot Project in Maharashtra

Wave energy developer Eco Wave Power has unveiled that it will sign a collaboration agreement with a Fortune 500 Indian company for the first wave energy pilot project in Maharashtra, India.

As part of this partnership, Eco Wave Power will showcase its innovative wave energy generation model in New Delhi, demonstrating how its patented onshore technology harnesses the power of ocean waves to generate clean electricity.

Driven by a commitment to sustainable energy solutions, Eco Wave Power aims to integrate wave energy into India’s renewable energy strategy through this collaboration.

“With a coastline of 7,516 km and over 250 million people living along the shore, India has a unique opportunity to place wave energy at the forefront of its renewable energy strategy,” said Inna Braverman, Founder and CEO of Eco Wave Power.

International Expansion and Projects

Aside from its upcoming venture in India, Eco Wave Power is making significant strides in its international projects. Earlier this year, the company enlisted the expertise of Portuguese firm MOQ Engineering to finalize design work and load calculations for its Porto wave energy project, set to launch in 2026.

In addition to its initiatives in India and Portugal, Eco Wave Power is actively advancing wave energy projects in Taiwan and the Port of Los Angeles. With a focus on expanding its presence in the wave energy market, the company anticipates announcing more international ventures in the near future.
