EIVA Ships Fleet of ScanFish ROTVs to Singapore to Meet Demand for UXO Surveys

Danish maritime engineering company EIVA has responded to the increasing demand for unexploded ordinance (UXO) surveys in the offshore wind market by shipping a fleet of new ScanFish remotely operated towed vehicles (ROTVs) and other rental equipment to their offices in Singapore.

With the offshore wind market booming in the APAC region, seabed survey companies are in need of efficient solutions for UXO surveys. By having the equipment readily available in Singapore, EIVA can significantly reduce shipping times compared to shipping from Denmark. This means that companies in the region can receive the necessary equipment in a timely manner, allowing them to conduct surveys more efficiently.

Julie Rydberg Sørensen, Technical Sales Manager – Rental | Team Lead at EIVA, highlighted the importance of making ScanFish ROTVs more accessible in Asia. The company has been working diligently to ensure that their Singapore office is well-equipped to meet the demands of customers in the region. With support from representatives in Japan, Indonesia, China, and Malaysia, EIVA aims to provide comprehensive services for UXO surveys.

By offering a cost-effective solution that includes sea-freight shipping for heavy equipment, EIVA is making it easier for companies to access the tools they need for offshore surveys. The Singapore office will also provide servicing for ongoing rental jobs, further enhancing the support available to customers in the APAC region.
