Gaslog Partners with Propulsion Analytics and Kongsberg Digital for Advanced Fleet Management

Gaslog, a leading owner, operator, and manager of LNG carriers and an FSRU, has taken a significant step towards optimizing its fleet’s performance and maintenance with the selection of Propulsion Analytics to develop a customized version of the Engine Hyper Cube platform. This platform, tailored specifically for Gaslog’s fleet, will be powered by Kongsberg Digital’s Vessel Insight cloud infrastructure.

The Engine Hyper Cube platform is an advanced application that utilizes high-frequency data from onboard engine sensors to perform continuous engine performance analysis. By seamlessly integrating this data with Kongsberg Digital’s Vessel Insight Vessel-to-Cloud infrastructure, Gaslog can access real-time insights and make data-driven decisions to optimize engine performance and maintenance.

Since connecting its entire fleet to Vessel Insight in 2022, Gaslog has seen success in leveraging the platform’s capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. The collaboration with Propulsion Analytics further strengthens Gaslog’s commitment to sustainable and efficient maritime operations.

According to Panos Kyrtatos, CEO of Propulsion Analytics, “This novel platform represents a significant advancement in providing advanced software tools to improve operational performance and reduce maintenance costs. Our expertise in engine diagnostics, combined with Gaslog’s operational experience and Kongsberg Digital’s data infrastructure, will drive sustainable and efficient maritime operations.”

Lampros Nikolopoulos, Asset Integrity Manager at Gaslog, added, “Our new digital engine management platform aligns with our long-term strategy of optimizing engine lifecycle maintenance. By utilizing tools developed by Propulsion Analytics and enabled through Kongsberg Digital, we aim to enhance plant reliability and optimize the total cost of ownership of our assets, ensuring operational excellence for a sustainable future.”
