Strategic Partnership Formed to Strengthen Marine Fuel Supply and Logistics

Global Chartering Limited (GCL), a joint venture between Luxembourg-based steelmaker ArcelorMittal and Greek shipping company DryLog, has recently announced a strategic partnership with Greece-based bunker supplier SEKAVIN. This collaboration aims to enhance fuel procurement, logistics efficiency, and sustainability in maritime operations.

With GCL’s expertise across the shipping value chain and SEKAVIN’s extensive presence in over 400 ports and a network of more than 200 suppliers, the partnership seeks to improve fuel security, cost efficiency, and transparency in the industry.

The focus of the partnership will also be on exploring innovative approaches to alternative fuels and emissions reduction, aligning with the broader sustainability goals of the maritime sector.

The partners plan to initially focus on key strategic bunkering locations, with a vision to expand as market demands and sustainability initiatives evolve.
