Golden Energy Offshore Services Secures Contract for Vessel Energy Swan

Oslo-listed OSV pure play Golden Energy Offshore Services (GEOS) has recently announced a new contract for its large platform supply vessel, Energy Swan. The 2005-built unit has been chartered to support the semisubmersible rig Deepsea Yantai in PL 586 in the Norwegian Sea.

The primary task for the vessel will be to assist in drilling well 6406/11-2 S for Vår Energi and its partners. While the specific dayrates for the Energy Swan contract have not been disclosed, industry experts estimate the duration of the fixture to be between a month and 75 days.

Prior to this new contract, the vessel had predominantly been engaged in operations for Equinor earlier this year, showcasing its versatility and reliability in the offshore sector.
