Golden Energy Offshore Secures Multiple Contracts with International Majors

Norway’s Golden Energy Offshore Services (GEOS) has recently announced a series of contract wins with undisclosed international major companies.

One of the firm deals includes the 2019-built multipurpose support vessel (MPSV) named Energy Dutchess, which is now committed until September 1, 2025, with a potential six-month extension option.

Additionally, GEOS has secured a term deal for either the 2015-built Energy Paradise or Energy Pace PSVs, subject to availability, lasting until April 16, 2026, with a one-year extension option.

The company also extended the contract for the 2016-built Energy Passion platform supplier, keeping it operational until March 1, 2026, with the possibility of a further one-year extension.

With a total gross contract value of $21 million for the firm periods and an additional $27.7 million for the option periods, GEOS currently boasts a backlog of $27 million in firm contracts and an additional $46.9 million in option periods.

Earlier this month, GEOS finalized a long-term charter agreement for its 2021-built MPSV, Energy Savannah, with Swiss-based subsea services provider Deepwave for a two-year term.
