Lynn Fischer is joining luxury boatbuilder GB Marine Group as global chief marketing officer as the brand continues its expansion.

GB Marine Group, designer and builder of the Grand Banks and Palm Beach Motor Yachts brands, says Fischer’s appointment to the newly created role will underpin the brand growth of both marques.

GB has recently introduced a 114,000 square-foot factory expansion and ongoing strategic investments in brand presence and owner services.

In January 2025, MIN reported that Palm Beach Motor Yachts had completed major renovations to its manufacturing facility in Johor, Malaysia.

Fischer will strategize the company’s marketing efforts, working closely with CEO Mark Richards to expand the brand, deepen client engagement, and further strengthen the company’s reputation.

Most recently, Fischer was chief marketing officer at Vista, one of the world’s largest private aviation companies. Her expertise spans premium and luxury sectors, with a deep focus on brand building and customer-first experiences and benefits.

“GB Marine Group is not only a heritage builder celebrating nearly 70 years of Grand Banks Yachts and 30 years of Palm Beach Motor Yachts—it’s a company at the forefront of next-generation yachting,” says Fischer. “From its ocean racing-inspired manufacturing approach that redefines performance and fuel efficiency, to its use of advanced technology and materials, GB Marine Group is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on the water. Just as important, the company delivers a premium ownership experience that’s deeply personal and service-driven. It’s a privilege to join Mark and the team in bringing this exciting story to life and shaping a brand that reflects the innovation, craftsmanship, and forward-thinking values that define this extraordinary company.”

GB Marine Group says it is ramping up a ‘new era of growth’ with groundbreaking new products, a major expansion of its manufacturing facility, and strategic property acquisitions on the horizon. Earlier this year, the boatbuilder entered into a sale and purchase agreement to acquire two properties in Newport, Rhode Island, United States, from Casey’s Marina and related parties for US$21m.

Fischer has been brought onboard to oversee brand strategy, digital and content marketing, global campaigns, customer insights, and the continued evolution of the owner experience programme—further enriching what it means to be part of the Palm Beach Motor Yachts and Grand Banks families. Her leadership will also support the expansion of the company’s factory-direct sales model, reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering a seamless, elevated, and brand-led journey from first inquiry to lifelong ownership.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lynn to the GB Marine Group,” says Richards. “Her deep expertise in building aspirational brands and delivering personalized client experiences will be instrumental as we bring even more exciting new products to market, expand our global footprint, and evolve our factory-direct strategy. Lynn shares our passion for design, performance, innovation and owner satisfaction—and I look forward to the energy and insight she’ll bring to our family of brands.”
