French Company HelioRec Partners with Shoreham Port to Develop Floating Solar Power Project in the UK

French floating solar company HelioRec has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Shoreham Port to develop a floating solar power project in the UK.

HelioRec, known for its innovative approach to utilizing water spaces for clean energy generation, sees this partnership as a significant step towards supporting Shoreham Port’s decarbonization efforts.

“We are proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shoreham Port to develop a new floating solar power project in the UK,” HelioRec stated.

The collaboration between HelioRec and Shoreham Port aims to drive sustainable energy initiatives, reduce emissions in coastal infrastructure, and have a positive impact on the environment and local communities.

In line with their commitment to environmental sustainability, HelioRec recently launched the STEWART project. This initiative focuses on advancing environmentally friendly floating solar solutions and is supported by the European Union (EU) and Région Pays de la Loire through the Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership).
