HII Recognized for Second Year in a Row as Top Company for Employee Well-being

For the second consecutive year, Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) has been honored as one of the top companies in the country for its dedication to advancing employee well-being through comprehensive and innovative benefits and initiatives. HII is proud to be among the 53 companies recognized by Business Group on Health as a 2025 Best Employers: Excellence in Health & Well-being Award winner.

Business Group on Health praised the 53 companies for their demonstrable efforts in enhancing the health and well-being of employees and their families through cutting-edge initiatives. These companies have been acknowledged for their novel and impactful approaches addressing critical workforce issues, such as mental health and health equity.

Edmond Hughes, HII’s executive vice president and chief human resources officer, expressed pride in receiving this prestigious award once again. He stated, “This second award for HII reflects our commitment to providing exceptional benefits and well-being programs for our employees and their families. The 2025 Best Employers: Excellence in Health & Well-being Award was announced on April 21st in Nashville, Tennessee, during Business Group on Health’s 2025 Annual Conference. HII was one of only three defense contractors to be recognized on the list. The winners represented a diverse range of industries, geographies, and strategic approaches to promoting employee health and well-being.
