Nauticus Robotics and Leidos Form Alliance to Advance Subsea Autonomy Solutions

Nauticus Robotics, a specialist in autonomous subsea robotics and software, has announced a strategic alliance with Leidos to further develop subsea autonomy solutions. This partnership comes on the heels of a successful previous collaboration between the two organizations and aims to leverage their combined expertise to create cutting-edge autonomous underwater systems capable of handling increasingly complex missions.

Building on Nauticus Robotics’ experience in commercial subsea vehicle development, particularly its innovative Aquanaut system, the alliance will focus on enhancing the capabilities of future unmanned underwater vehicles. Nauticus will also bring its proprietary unmanned vehicle software platform, ToolKITT, to the table, further bolstering the development of advanced autonomous subsea technologies.

By combining Nauticus Robotics’ industry-leading technology with Leidos’ extensive experience in defense, aviation, and maritime solutions, the alliance is poised to drive significant advancements in subsea autonomy. The collaboration between these two forward-thinking companies promises to revolutionize the underwater robotics industry and open up new possibilities for autonomous subsea operations.
