LS Marine Solution Wins Bid for Haesong Offshore Wind Project

South Korean subsea cable contractor LS Marine Solution has been selected as the preferred bidder for the transportation and installation of subsea cables for the Haesong offshore wind project. This project, which is South Korea’s largest offshore wind project, is being developed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and will consist of two 500MW offshore wind farms.

LS Marine Solution’s scope of work includes marine surveys, subsea cable laying and burial, and connectivity testing for the internal and external network construction. They will collaborate with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners on the transport and installation of the projects, aligning construction schedules and technical requirements in preparation for the main EPC contract.

Both wind farms have already secured power generation permits and are now awaiting final environmental approval. Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners is the investor in the project, with its subsidiary Copenhagen Offshore Partners overseeing project execution.
