MacArtney Underwater Technology Appoints Håkan Sundin as General Manager for Sweden Operations

MacArtney Underwater Technology has appointed Håkan Sundin as the General Manager of its Sweden operation. This strategic move highlights the company’s commitment to local engagement and collaboration with Swedish customers.

By appointing Håkan Sundin, MacArtney aims to strengthen its presence in Sweden and solidify its position as a leading partner in underwater technology solutions. With an office located in Mölnlycke near Gothenburg since 2022, MacArtney has been successful in building relationships within the Swedish market.

The establishment of a local presence has facilitated closer partnerships across various sectors, including marine and offshore, ocean science, naval operations, as well as academic and scientific institutions.

Bringing nearly 30 years of experience in the marine and offshore industries, Håkan Sundin’s background in natural sciences equips him with valuable market insights and technical expertise essential for the role.

Having previously worked with survey companies and innovative ventures such as Ocean Infinity (formerly MMT), Håkan is no stranger to MacArtney’s product offerings. In fact, he has prior experience purchasing a MacArtney FOCUS vehicle earlier in his career.

“I’ve always been attracted to B2B environments that prioritize client interaction and problem-solving. MacArtney’s comprehensive solutions and quality products align perfectly with my professional ethos. I am enthusiastic about leading a talented team in Sweden and am determined to double our revenue within three years by focusing on core MacArtney products and related solutions,” stated Håkan Sundin.
