Maritime Tactical Systems, Inc. Selected for U.S. Joint Staff J7 Warfighting Lab Incentive Fund

Maritime Tactical Systems, Inc. (MARTAC), a leading provider of unmanned surface vehicle (USV) technology, has been named one of the ten winners of the U.S. Joint Staff J7 Warfighting Lab Incentive Fund (WLIF) for Fiscal Year 2026. MARTAC’s selection out of over 150 submissions highlights its innovative capabilities and significant contributions to future warfighting concepts.

This recognition is a significant milestone for MARTAC as it continues to push the boundaries of the maritime battlespace with its autonomous platforms known for their versatility, performance, and operational resilience. The FY26 WLIF project will see MARTAC focus on the development and demonstration of its latest innovation: the 82-foot next-generation USV platform. This larger, high-speed vessel will be showcased in kinetic and tactical resupply mission profiles, showcasing its effectiveness in high-impact tactical operations and multi-domain integration.

The WLIF initiative, led by the Joint Staff J7, is geared towards expediting the identification, assessment, and integration of emerging technologies into joint experimentation and planning. MARTAC’s involvement in the program will involve coordinated lab exercises, live demonstrations, and data-driven analysis to guide future investment and deployment strategies.
